About Cinematig
Cinematig is a group of film enthusiasts who have been watching films together for years, and occasionally even admit to it publicly. In today's cinema world, there is hardly any room for short, strange or unique films. Cinematig is changing that.
Every now and then they organise a film festival where they screen the newest, craziest or weirdest films and videos: Cinematig Film Festival.
All tasks are handled by four “sociable” men in pink turtleneck jumpers: from selecting the films, designing the promotional material and manufacturing the famous Cinematig film award (The B’s Knees) to manning the bar.
By organising and programming at film festivals, Cinematig wants to give these often-forgotten gems a well-deserved moment in the spotlight.
Cinematig: if you say ‘Aaah’, you have to say ‘B’ too.
Review: Cinematig x NFF '25
Cinematig number 6 was indeed an evening. Watch the official aftermovie here!
On 8 November 2025, Cinematig presented a full-length programme packed with loud, crude and bloody jokes at the Northern Film Festival. Ten films for the price of one, featuring hilarious intervals and a presentation on B-movies.
Next edition: Cinematig x NoFF '26
We can finally ‘announce’ it: the Noordelijk Film Festival has heard our rutting call!
Saturday 7 November we spoil you with a programme that is second to none. The bar was, of course, already a tripping hazard in hell, but we're going to see if we can disappoint you even more. Jacob has the expertise.
Of course, we’ve got another long film (sorry!), a handful of short films, a presentation on a topic we’ll come up with on the day itself, and, of course, the famous commercial breaks.
Keep an eye on our social media for more information!
